Hi Talia, Haha! I thought I could read your Dad in there this time! I saw his post this morning on FB about CH2, told my daughter Emily that it was up and a few minutes later caught her reading it. I think she likes it! Keep up the good work. :)

Busted :-) Why not share some of your own work here. It’s safe, it’s fun and it can help you focus on writing to a schedule. I’m sure there’s something you’ve got that would be perfect for this site. We don’t bit ;-)

I was hoping this moment would come. It’s a bit like a Who Am I question. You would have got it eventually! ;)
Sharing? Very tempted. Must make more effort to off-load some of of my other deadline-driven todo’s. They’re holding me back. ;)

    “86″ out.

      Thanks. But it’s “13″, not “99″ :-P

    Drats!
    Sorry Talia,
I hoped you (or Dad) would have picked up the references to the TV comedy spy show “Get Smart”.
Look it up on Wikipedia, it’s worth a read; one of the funniest shows on TV back in the 70’s.
As soon as I stated reading about the code name/numbers, the theme music from that show started playing in my head, and then the fancy phone in your story cemented it there.
We’d often use quotes from the show, and still do sometimes, especially “Good thinking, 99”, as she was the smart one.
If you messed anything up, “You 86’ed that”, as Max seemed to fail at everything.
If we wanted to talk in secret about something, we’d call the “Cone of Silence”, even though it never worked.
Agent 13, from Get Smart, always got the unluckiest jobs, usually disguised as things like a mail-box and had a miserable time.
Love your story so far, hope your agent 13 doesn’t have too much bad luck.
Best of luck with your writing,
Gotta go, my shoe-phone is ringing!
    Richard

Ahh you bring back memories. Poor hapless Agent 13 always stuffed into the most uncomfortable of places. :-)
